Arcachon, Summer 2025.

There are places you pass through, and then there’s Arcachon

a town that wraps you in its light and tides. On Pereire Beach, wide and peaceful, and on the central beach near the Thiers jetty, I set out to capture the gentle essence of this summer.

It wasn’t just the golden sand or the murmur of the waves that drew me in, but those suspended moments: a child building a sandcastle, friends laughing in the shade of a parasol, a glance exchanged during a stroll along the jetty.

This series isn’t about landscapes, but about those who inhabit them. Holidaymakers returning to the sea, locals who know every tide, every shade of the sky. All share the same breath here the lingering spirit of summer, inviting contemplation.

Arcachon is made up of these fleeting presences, these simple gestures, the poetry of everyday life on the shore. These are the people of now, the ones who make this town vibrant, alive, and unforgettable.
