Krustyland

A clear day somewhere bright with sun. The photographs are taken at an amusement area where pastel-colored booths and oversized cartoon characters dominate under a sky of unbroken blue. Neon signs in orange, teal, and white frame the scene, their glow sharp against the red-brick buildings or metal railings that ground the images in place. Figures move through these spaces,adults and children walking past striped tents, relaxing under shade, or gathered near snack stands. The light is direct, picking out textures: the smooth surface of a painted ride entrance, the rough grain of sand, the reflective sheen of water fountains.
