    Ludwig Favre photographs the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, a Los Angeles institution that has welcomed Hollywood since the 1880s, rebuilt and reopened in 2022. The image holds the building in low afternoon light, painted signage and architecture sitting square in the frame. Favre's Los Angeles project returns regularly to the city's smaller, longer-running landmarks, the ones that hold the city's history in their façades.
